Crawley Falls Prevention

Have you felt unsteady on your feet?  Have you fallen or noticed a reduction in your confidence when moving about?  Crawley wellbeing is here to help you improve your strength and balance and support you to feel steadier and more confident in daily life.

 anyone is at risk of falling and is one of the largest causes of serious injury among the older population.  Not only can falls cause injury they can also be a barrier to people maintaining their independence. Prevention is key and it’s never too early to take steps to protect your health and independence for the future.

Well-Balanced

Well-balanced is our 24 week falls prevention programme, held once per week. Our welcoming classes are led by friendly and experienced postural stability instructors.  The course is aimed at reducing your risk of having a fall and help you feel steadier and more confident on your feet.

The course is for you if you have felt unsteady on your feet, experienced a fall, want to prevent a fall or have been referred by an NHS falls prevention service and can rise from a chair without help.

You will have a practical assessment before joining the course to ensure this is the correct class for you.  If not, you will be referred onto a more suitable option.
