Weight off Workshop (WoW)
The Weight Off Workshop is in place to help clients lose weight which brings significant health benefits to people, especially with conditions such as Type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure and knee or hip problems.
Due to current government guidelines all face-to-face services have been postponed, however we are offering one-to-one support over the phone as well as our upcoming virtual weight loss course via video link for those that would like the support of a small group.
Starting in July, Crawley Wellbeing are running a series of free 12 week Weight off Workshops (WoW) via a video platform for groups of up to 6 people.
The video sessions will run over various choice of times throughout Monday-Friday.
Additionally, this includes a private Facebook community group as well as many other resources and useful links. The minimum requirement is to attend one session (45 minutes) per week.
To be eligible for the programme, clients must be of the following criteria:
- Have a BMI over 25
- Be over 16 years old
- Live and/or work in Crawley
