Quit4Wellbeing

New specialist stop smoking service to help people quit

Quit4Wellbeing Stop_Smoking_Team

Quit4Wellbeing is a new, specialist stop smoking service offering face-to-face and over-the-phone support to help people who want to quit smoking.

Funded by a Government grant, this new service increases the amount of free support available and, by providing more choice, aims to help you quit in ways that work for you.

How we can support you

Our friendly team of advisors are here to help.

We offer:

  • free, personalised advice and support to anyone over 18 who lives or works in West Sussex
  • provision of up to 12 weeks medication combined with behavioural support
  • community based smoking cessation clinics providing face-to-face support
  • telephone support for those not able to access face-to-face support.

What to expect from a session with one of our specialist advisors

  • You will have an initial telephone assessment. This is where we will ask about you, what you would like to achieve, and we may ask about your previous quit attempts and what worked for you. This may take up to 15 minutes.
  • If you chose to come to one of our community clinics, the Advisor from that clinic will give you a call and make sure you have all the information you need to attend the next session.
  • If you choose to be supported over the phone, your Advisor will give you a call and work with you to plan your quit date, organise your quit smoking medication and arrange your follow up appointments. Your quit smoking medication will be sent directly to you.
  • In a community clinic, we will provide you with your quit smoking medication, either vapes and or nicotine replacement therapy, when you attend.
  • Our support will continue for 12 weeks.
